<p>Duties</p> <p>Hazelwood School District - JOB DESCRIPTION</p> <p>Early Childhood Education Site Coordinator</p> <p>PLEASE APPLY ON THE HAZELWOOD SCHOOL DISTRICT WEBPAGE</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>Directly responsible to the Director of Early Childhood/Federal Programs/PAT and to the Assistant</p> <p>Superintendent-School Accountability. Assist the Assistant Superintendent in providing the best possible</p> <p>educational programs to ensure that each student enrolled is provided the best educational experience the school can provide.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>A minimum of a Master's Degree. </li><li>Elementary principal's certificate issued by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary </li></ul> <p>Education.</p> <ul> <li>At least five (5) years successful classroom teaching and administrative/supervisory experience. </li><li>Training and practical experience in instructional management, effective teaching models, curriculum </li></ul> <p>development, implementation and evaluation.</p> <ul> <li>Ability and personality necessary to work effectively with colleagues, students, parents, and other </li></ul> <p>individuals, as well as formal and informal groups and organizations.</p> <ul> <li>Possess positive, effective "people skills." </li><li>Special Education experience </li><li>Flexible to work during the Summer School Semester(s) </li></ul> <p>Period of Employment: Contractual period of employment is 12 months.</p> <p>Salary Range: Based on the 2025-2026 Salary Schedule</p> <p>Please Note: This position may be subject to social security withholding and only partial credit for the</p> <p>Public School Retirement System. The Hazelwood School District has not received definitive guidance on</p> <p>which positions in the district may be affected. When the District receives a determination, prospective and</p> <p>current employees will be informed.</p> <p>SKILLS/ABILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Accurate and attentive to detail. </li><li>Outstanding organizational skills. </li><li>Excellent communications and public relations abilities. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills needed. </li><li>Must be self-directed, highly motivated, and able to effectively lead others. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</p> <p>While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and to lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required included close vision, distance vision, the ability to adjust and focus, and depth perception.
