<p>The Orem Finance Department is currently hiring for a Customer Service Specialist - Apprentice. This is a full-time, benefited position in the City's 311 Help Center providing working level customer service and routine technical support to the citizens and staff of the City of Orem. Customer Service Specialist - Apprentice performs a variety of clerical and bookkeeping operations related to the maintenance of utility accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury operations, purchasing, city records, and/or payroll. This position also performs duties related to fingerprinting, landlord programs, and passports.Graduation from high school or its equivalent, including or supplemented by courses in business, accounting and/or related fields. - Experience in bookkeeping, accounting or clerical duties. - For a full list of required knowledge, skills, and abilities please see our list of job descritions/pay ranges. 3 Years Spanish speaking office experience preferred. Due to Federal Regulations for processing passports, canidates must show proof of U.S. Citizenship.The current salary range for Customer Service Specialist - Apprentice is $39,520 to $42,778 annually. Individual starting salary generally begins towards the bottom of the pay range but may depend on qualifications and experience.
