Become a part of our history as it continues to be written!</p> <p>If you are interested and qualified for this role, we invite you to apply.</p> <p>The Card Servicing Specialist I role is responsible for effectively supporting all aspects of credit and debit card servicing and maintenance functions.</p> <p>Essential Functions/Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Work open exceptions/open items on the settlement account. </li><li>Process and address all credit and debit card related requests through Service fIRST, inclusive of implementation and maintenance of cards and self-service portal access. </li><li>Provide support for CFC Credit Card Support shared IM Chat Space and answer questions posed by Consumer Support Center staff. </li><li>Handle internal/external telephone calls to resolve card-related issues. </li><li>Document and Review Data accurately </li><li>Generate and manage various credit card reports, including address changes, daily CC phone and email changes, new account reports, secured card transition eligibility, and SSN phone validation. </li><li>Process credit card statement requests and manage returned statements (mail). </li><li>Adjust payments including payment reversals, misapplied payments, backdating, and incorrect account adjustments. </li><li>Close credit cards by blocking and reclassifying as needed. </li><li>Investigate and resolve Salesforce cases submitted by the call center, branches, and online banking to resolve card account issues such as questions about rewards program, password resets, cash advances, fulfillment of replace cards and rush orders, and provide password resets for internal customers. Answer questions by phone and e-mail as needed. </li><li>Level 1 Issue Research & Resolution </li><li>Balancing & Reconciliation </li><li>May be asked to participate in special projects (i.e. conversion, release, disaster recovery) </li></ul> <p>Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed to Perform Essential Functions of the Job</p> <ul> <li>Prior clerical/data entry experience </li><li>Customer Service experience </li><li>Basic proficiency of Word and Excel </li><li>Fundamental Computer Skills </li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li></ul> <p>Preferred Knowledge and Skills</p> <ul> <li>Prior experience in banking. </li></ul> <p>Level of Complexity and Scope</p> <ul> <li>Regularly works on assignments that are routine in nature (i.e. daily and monthly settlement activities, handles customer inquiries, and resolving card-related issues). </li></ul> <p>Degree of Independence and Decision-Making</p> <ul> <li>Works under direct supervision and follows established guidelines receiving instruction on all new assignments. </li></ul> <p>Required Supervisory Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>No direct supervisory responsibilities. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Prolonged periods of deskwork. </li><li>Occasionally lifting and carrying light objects, typically up to 10-15 pounds. </li><li>Occasionally reaching for items on shelves or in drawers. </li><li>Clear and effective communication in person and over the phone. </li><li>Ability to move within an office environment. </li></ul> <p>Compliance Statement</p> <p>The associate is responsible for meeting all compliance requirements imposed on First Financial Bank by State and Federal law and regulation, as well as all related First Financial Bank policies and procedures.
