<p>Department</p> <p>Department of Risk Management/Insurance, Real Estate and Legal Studies | College of Business</p> <p>The Department of Risk Management/Insurance, Real Estate, and Legal Studies houses nationally acclaimed undergraduate programs in both risk management/insurance and real estate. The Risk Management/Insurance faculty teach required and elective classes in Risk Management/Insurance at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The program and faculty are nationally ranked and are supported by two active centers.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>The FSU College of Business is seeking to fill one specialized faculty position in Risk Management/Insurance beginning in Fall 2026. The faculty member will teach four courses per semester at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. Teaching responsibilities can include classes in risk management and insurance, healthcare, and/or business law. The topics and courses taught (upper division course(s), graduate course(s)) will be based on work and teaching experience. Some service to the department, college, university, and profession is expected. A part of this service may include being the faculty advisor of student groups. Travel with students is also expected.
