<p>The Music Theater program at Denison University is seeking an enthusiastic and committed instructor and musical theatre director for a tenure-track position to begin August 2025. The incoming faculty rank is open. The position will be a joint appointment in the Departments of Music and Theatre. The successful candidate should have substantial experience directing music theatre productions and working collaboratively with, motivating, and teaching undergraduate students.</p> <p>Along with directing music theatre performances, teaching duties include foundational courses for the Music Theatre minor. Additional courses will be in areas of the candidate's expertise, which could include, but are not limited to: choreography, acting, devising, répétiteur, voice, musicology, music theory, composition/songwriting, and/or performance studies. Additional duties include advising, recruiting new students, and helping to grow the burgeoning Music Theatre minor. Earned terminal degree required.</p> <p>The Arts at Denison are vibrant, masterful, and thought-provoking.
