Our Chase Correspondent Home Lending Team purchases closed mortgage loans and mortgage servicing rights from independent mortgage banks and financial institutions across the country with a focus on delivering liquidity, reliability and market leading services. With Chase, clients get unparalleled access to the full capabilities of JPMorgan Chase - extending far beyond the services of a traditional correspondent investor.</p> <p>As a Client Support Manager in Correspondent Lending you will maintain effective relationships with current Mortgage Bankers and financial institution clients. You will support the Client Relationship Manager across all client-facing activities by building and maintaining effective relationships with existing mortgage banking and financial institution clients. You'll help manage a portfolio of 45-60 clients through responsibilities such as client training, strategic planning, and account maintenance.</p> <p>Job responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate understanding of client needs, communicate Chase priorities, and identify opportunities to increase product penetration </li><li>Collaborate with key internal partners on process integration and promote a culture of continuous improvements of end-to-end workflow and process that are client facing </li><li>Identify risks through interactions with all position levels of the client (Administrative to Executive), respond to requests from Counterparty Risk Management, and facilitate the resolution of all client risk events (Negative news, legal actions, poor performance) </li><li>Support Client Relationship Manager. Establish and maintain effective relationships with current clients and maximize their opportunity while ensuring they remain in good standing with Chase </li></ul> <p>Required qualifications, skills and capabilities</p> <ul> <li>3+ years experience with direct exposure to most of the following areas: Product development, Mortgage Finance and Mortgage Origination Operations (Underwriting, Processing, Loan Delivery) </li><li>Competent at using personal computer, managing remote system connection, intermediate skills in Excel, navigating multiple systems and software types </li><li>Proven analytical skills needed to analyze issues/opportunities and recommend solutions </li><li>Interact with Executives, Loan Originators and Capital Markets managers </li><li>Proven track record in gaining working knowledge of mortgage loan pricing, Correspondent contract requirements, and understanding potential risks of mortgage banking </li><li>Capable of gaining general mortgage loan credit policy and loan purchase process knowledge in a short period of time (<90days) </li><li>Talents and skills must be matched with the ability to facilitate issues and opportunities between Chase and clients with reasonable guidance from their manager </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to build client relationships with strategic planning to maximize opportunities</p> </li><li> <p>Mortgage margin management and pricing skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ad-hoc client facing skills</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor's degree in finance or business</p> </li></ul>
