<p>Job Description</p> <p>This team member must be able to travel 75% via car/plane.</p> <p>The Regional Operations Manager will support local practice management with the general day-to-day operations for current clinics and any future acquisitions.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Supervises operations of 15+ Blue River PetCare hospitals with goal of generating revenue and profit growth. </li><li>Works with local management team and veterinarians to ensure a high standard of patient care is being practiced. </li><li>Acts as liaison between hospitals and Blue River management, reporting visit findings and offering recommendations on how to improve profitability. </li><li>Provides staffing support in the areas of inventory, scheduling, compliance, training, recruiting, and best retention practices when necessary. </li><li>Ensures Hospital is compliant with OSHA, DEA, AVMA and other local regulations. </li><li>Maintains proficiencies on Blue River PetCare platforms and remain current on all policies. </li><li>Coaches local management team on managing revenue & expenses, how to staff and schedule appropriately, management of inventory levels and pricing, along with other administrative functions. </li><li>Fosters a positive and productive work environment at local clinics. </li><li>Recruiting, onboarding, and training of practice managers. </li><li>Partners with Human Resources team on employee relations, compliance, issue mitigation and best practices. </li><li>Partners with corporate operations on capital expenditures, liability issues, and vendor considerations. </li><li>Perform duties of practice manager for hospitals as needed. </li><li>Other duties and projects as assigned. </li></ul>
