Blending the soul of Southern hospitality with the intuitive service of Four Seasons, we're redefining the Nashville dining scene."</p> <p>The Opportunity:</p> <p>We are seeking a Director of Operations BACCO, an exciting opportunity to be part of the new Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville!</p> <p>The Director of Operations - Bacco will play a pivotal leadership role in overseeing the opening and ongoing management of a new food and beverage concept. This position is ideal for a seasoned and dynamic Food & Beverage leader with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving operational success. The Director will be responsible for strategic planning, financial success, and maintaining the highest standards of service and quality. With exceptional financial acumen, expertise in service excellence, and a keen eye for detail, the Director will ensure the achievement of revenue goals while upholding a high level of professionalism. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape the future of the concept, positioning it as a premier dining destination in the competitive Nashville market and ensuring its long-term success.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the opening and ongoing operations of the new food and beverage concept, ensuring optimal efficiency, strict quality control, exceptional guest service, and immediate financial success. </li><li>Drive profitability and revenue growth through effective financial strategies, cost optimization, cultivation of new revenue streams, and analysis of financial performance to ensure sustained success. </li><li>Position the concept as a market leader by developing innovative strategies, forming strategic partnerships, and collaborating with marketing and PR teams to attract and retain a loyal customer base. </li><li>Develop and execute strategies to consistently attract a high volume of guests, ensuring operational capacity and financial growth, while maintaining exceptional guest experiences that differentiate the brand in a competitive market. </li><li>Drive top-line sales performance through stellar service delivery, strategic community engagement, and exceptional guest experiences. </li><li>Control costs by managing controllable expenses and implementing systems that empower team members to effectively manage costs without compromising service quality. </li><li>Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Restaurant Chef to deliver a dynamic menu that caters to everyday dining as well as special events. </li><li>Partner with the Beverage Manager and Bar Assistant Manager to curate an industry-leading small-batch craft cocktail program and tequila selection. </li><li>Work closely with F&B Experiences and F&B Society leaders to imagine and create unique and memorable guest experiences. </li><li>Build and mentor a high-performing leadership team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, accountability, and delivering top-tier service. </li><li>Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards, maintaining operational excellence and aligning with industry best practices and corporate standards. </li></ul> <p>NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Provide leadership support during peak times, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining service standards across all areas of the F&B team. </li><li>Assist with the optimization of workflows and operational processes to improve efficiency and enhance the overall guest experience. </li><li>Lead special initiatives or projects that support the long-term operational strategy, including staff development, training programs, and process improvements. </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS</p> <p>Education: A hospitality degree, preferably with a focus in hotel/restaurant management or business administration, or equivalent experience is preferred but not required.</p> <p>Experience: 5+ years of experience in upscale, full-service restaurant management, including at least 2 years in a leadership or General Manager role.</p> <p>Skills and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Proven track record in successfully opening new concepts and managing high-volume operations. </li><li>Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis. </li><li>Ability to lead, inspire, and develop teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. </li><li>Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with guests, employees, and stakeholders. </li><li>Ability to think strategically and adapt to changing market conditions and business needs. </li><li>Requires a working knowledge of division operations as well as core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures. Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job. </li><li>Ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems. </li><li>Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language. </li></ul> <p>About Four Seasons Hotel & Private Residences Nashville</p> <p>A soaring new landmark on the Nashville skyline, Four Seasons pays homage to the city's creative spirit. 40 stories high, with 235 keys (42 suites) and 143 residence units, the property is located in the upmarket neighborhood of SoBro where floor to ceiling windows provide unobstructed downtown panoramic views.
