Our solutions have helped generations of foodservice professionals enhance their menus while providing a greater return on their investment.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The ideal candidate for a Value Stream Supervisor - Forming would be able to do the following:</p> <ul> <li>Living and coaching by ASMS beliefs. </li><li>Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, and maintains compliance with safety policies and procedures. </li><li>Selects, onboards and evaluates direct reports. </li><li>Manages execution of direct report training plans. </li><li>Monitors the execution of in-process quality checks, quality gates and defect resolution. </li><li>Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries. </li><li>Ensures direct reports effectively utilize the help chain. </li><li>Drives continuous improvement activities through effective problem solving techniques. </li><li>Enforces team adherence to standard work, policies, and procedures; delivers performance management, when appropriate. </li><li>Maintains working relationship with Union representatives. </li><li>Follows the terms of the collective bargaining agreement. </li><li>Manages employee schedules and timecards. </li><li>Contributes to team effort by accomplishing all other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>For a candidate to be successful as a Value Stream Supervisor - Forming they must have:</p> <ul> <li>Servant leadership mindset. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to cross-functionally solve problems. </li><li>Effective verbal and written communication </li><li>2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. </li><li>Proficient computer skills; MS Office; ERP experience preferred. </li><li>Experience in metal fabrication or one-piece flow assembly environment preferred. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>For more information about our benefits, job duties, and company values, go to</p> <p>https://www.alto-shaam.com/en</p>
