<p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Windmoor Healthcare has an excellent career opportunity for an Maintenance Technician (Full-Time) to join our team of dedicated professionals. The candidate selected will be responsible for the following:</p> <ul> <li>Assists the Supervisor in planning and performing preventive maintenance on all buildings and equipment. </li><li>Repairs the buildings and equipment as needed due to failure or routine deterioration. </li><li>Takes immediate action on any safety issues within the facility to endure resident and staff safety. </li><li>Reports any maintenance issued to the Maintenance Supervisor that cannot be repaired by Maintenance Department. </li><li>Inspects all electrical equipment yearly for safety and compliance with hospital standards, state licensing and TJC. </li><li>Assists the Supervisor with implementing and enforcing safety and fire policies and procedures by conducting safety inspections and fire drills. Assists with staff training as needed. </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Must have High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Must have at least two years of maintenance experience, preferably in a hospital setting. </li><li>Must have valid, current Florida Driver License. </li><li>Must be able to demonstrate experience in all of the following areas: electrical and distribution systems, plumbing, heating and air conditioning water and sewer systems, gardening and landscaping, powered equipment, automobiles and safety and fire protection. </li><li>The candidate must be able to be on-call and answer any calls for service/ emergencies during weekends, holidays, days, and nights. </li></ul>
