<p>This position provides administrative support to the Vice President of Academic</p> <p>Affairs and high-level academic operations, including key committees and offices.</p> <p>Work Days: Monday - Friday</p> <p>Shift Start/End Time: 8:30 am - 4:54 pm with an hour lunch</p> <p>Hours Per Week: 37.5</p> <p>Weeks Per Year: 52</p> <p>Position Title: Administrative Coordinator, Academic Affairs</p> <p>Pay Status and Classification: Non-exempt, Regular-full time.</p> <p>Work Location: This position is an onsite role and is not eligible for a hybrid work schedule.</p> <p>Supervisor: Dean of the Faculty/Vice President for Academic Affairs</p> <p>Position Purpose: This position provides administrative support to the Vice President of Academic Affairs and high-level academic operations, including key committees and offices.</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities and Duties:</p> <ol> <li>Provide administrative support for assigned committees and academic affairs leadership, </li></ol> <p>including data management and distribution, scheduling, record-keeping, file management and</p> <p>archiving.</p> <ol start="2"> <li> <p>Manage confidential and sensitive information related to faculty review processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate the administration of course evaluations.</p> </li><li> <p>AY 25-26 detail: Assist the Office of College Grants & Sponsored Programs with key pre- and</p> </li></ol> <p>post-award tasks including, but not limited to, announcements and website maintenance, proposal</p> <p>and award tracking, accounting, reporting, award maintenance, monitoring and assigning</p> <p>compliance activities and trainings and budget modifications. Note: The nature of the academic</p> <p>year detail will be evaluated annually and could change over time depending on the needs of</p> <p>Academic Affairs offices.</p> <ol start="5"> <li>Contribute ideas, input, and support to Academic Affairs initiatives, decisions, communications, </li></ol> <p>and other activities. Seek out, apply, and share knowledge of administrative trends and</p> <p>innovations.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ol> <li>Associates Degree and 3-5 years of administrative support experience, and/or a combination of </li></ol> <p>relevant education, training, certifications, and/or work experience. Experience working in a</p> <p>higher education and especially a small liberal arts environment is preferred.</p> <ol start="2"> <li> <p>Experience and skills in reading and writing of programmatic and guideline documents.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to complete tasks independently under general supervision with excellent judgment,</p> </li></ol> <p>accuracy, discretion, professionalism, and attention to form and detail.</p> <ol start="4"> <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite, and Adobe </li></ol> <p>Acrobat.</p> <ol start="5"> <li>Previous web maintenance experience, experience with Colleague, general database applications, </li></ol> <p>and learning management systems are a plus, and the ability to learn new systems quickly is</p> <p>essential.</p> <ol start="6"> <li> <p>Experience with budgets and financial management.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to take initiative on projects and prioritize competing demands.</p> </li></ol> <p>8.The ability to foster and enhance a thriving, culturally diverse, and inclusive learning community,</p> <p>while promoting a sense of belonging among students, faculty, and staff colleagues.</p> <ol start="9"> <li> <p>Able to anticipate, deliver on, and exceed the expectations of faculty and staff colleagues.</p> </li><li> <p>Able to introduce and drive innovation in ways small and large.</p> </li><li> <p>Able to proactively identify and pursue relevant learning and professional development</p> </li></ol> <p>opportunities and apply new knowledge, insights, and skills to enhance results.</p> <p>Compensation:</p> <p>The expected rate for this position is $22.50-24.00 per hour. Except for roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set</p> <p>based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training.
