<p>Job Description</p> <p>Performs a variety of special procedure imaging functions under the direct supervision of a physician during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Performs radiographic procedures, Commuted Tomography (CT) and related exams, as required.</p> <p>Job Responsibility</p> <p>1.Prepares patient for diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures.</p> <p>Ensures patient is prepped and draped in a sterile fashion.</p> <p>Explains procedure in easy-to-understand terms to patient.</p> <p>Positions patient based on type of exam/procedure being performed. Applies shields according to department guidelines.</p> <p>2.Prepares sterile trays for diagnostic/therapeutic interventional procedures, as required. Adheres to strict sterile techniques and prepares tray instrumentation according to established policies and procedures.</p> <p>3.Sets up imaging and auxiliary equipment based on type of exam/procedure being performed.</p> <p>4.Prepares intravenous iodinated contrast injector in accordance with technical and safety standards, as required.</p> <p>5.Performs imaging exams according to established standards, processes and procedures.</p> <p>6.Recognizes and promptly reports any changes in patient's condition to physician. Assists in cardiopulmonary emergencies, as directed.</p> <p>7.Prepares and labels high quality digital images/videos for physician review.</p> <p>8.Performs radiographic procedures, Commuted Tomography (CT) and related exams, as required.</p> <p>9.May operate 3D workstations, including import of CT, MRI and ultrasound images.</p> <p>10.Maintains and imaging equipment. Makes setting adjustments, as needed. Documents preventive maintenance, service reports, and repair status.</p> <p>11.Performs related duties, as required.</p> <p>Job Qualification</p> <p>Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, required.</p> <p>New York State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, required.</p> <p>American Registry of Radiologic Technologists registration in Computed Tomography R.T. (CT)(ARRT) required, within eighteen (18) months of entry date into position.</p> <p>Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, required.</p> <p>Minimum of two (2) years related imaging experience, required. Experience performing special procedure imaging functions, preferred.</p> <p>Communication and customer service skills, required.</p> <p>Injection Administration on the DOH license, preferred.</p> <p>CT Experience, preferred.</p> <p>Shift Details: Monday-Friday 7:30a-4p and every other Saturday (potentially every 3rd Saturday) from 7:30a-4p.</p> <ul> <li>Additional Salary Detail </li></ul> <p>The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).</p>
