<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The Pediatric Clinical Quality Nurse will lead and assist with the integration of quality and safety initiatives and evidence based practice throughout Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital. Will support functions to meet and /or exceed regulatory requirements and standards (i.e. DOH, DNV, SPS, CHA and Vizient). Will collect quality improvement data and assist in addressing variances and opportunities for improvement. Supports and role models a Culture of Safety. Collaborates with Pediatric Quality & Safety Manager to develop, implement and evaluate process improvement initiatives for Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>NYS licensed/registered RN (or eligible), Masters degree in Nursing and a minimum of three years pediatric inpatient acute care or pediatric critical care RN experience required. Excellent written, oral communication, and organizational skills and strong problem-solving abilities required. CPR-BLS certification required by time of appointment.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>National certification in pediatric specialty preferred. Leadership experience preferred.
