<p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Supervises and coordinates activities of warehouse and shipping employees by </li></ul> <p>performing the following duties.</p> <ul> <li>Train employees on safety, equipment and processes </li><li>Schedule assignments and overtime (when needed) </li><li>Plans layout of warehouse and storage areas while taking into consideration: turnover, size, </li></ul> <p>weight, and related factors of items stored</p> <ul> <li>Reviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures, and to </li></ul> <p>determine adequacy of stock levels</p> <ul> <li>Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock </li></ul> <p>control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies</p> <ul> <li>Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow </li><li>Issues written and oral instructions </li><li>Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and </li></ul> <p>procedures</p> <ul> <li>Create and maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances </li><li>Investigate and correct errors </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED) </li><li>One to three years related industry experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of </li></ul> <p>education and experience</p> <ul> <li>Possess effective communication skills which include verbal and written </li><li>Must have experience with Microsoft Office </li><li>Willingness to learn mainframe program (Metalware) </li><li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance </li></ul> <p>instructions, and procedure manuals</p> <ul> <li>Ability to write routine reports and correspondence </li><li>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral </li></ul> <p>instructions</p> <ul> <li>Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. </li></ul> <p>We treat our employees right:</p> <p>We offer a full comprehensive benefits program with medical, dental, vision, company paid life</p> <p>insurance, short and long-term disability, paid vacation, PTO, 401(k) plans, tuition reimbursement</p> <p>among other competitive benefits.</p> <p>TW Metals, LLC. is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity</p> <p>employer.
