<p>Kforce has a client in Greenwood Village, CO that is seeking a proactive and assertive Project Manager to lead initiatives supporting Software Asset Management (SAM) efforts within an application development (SDLC) environment. This role requires someone who can operate with urgency, confidently escalate risks, and hold teams accountable to delivery timelines. The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced and evolving environment, and knows how to drive outcomes while maintaining cross-functional alignment.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Manage the end-to-end execution of software asset management projects across multiple workstreams </li><li>Partner with stakeholders in engineering, procurement, finance, compliance, and security to align SAM objectives </li><li>Drive project schedules, track deliverables, and ensure milestones are completed on time </li><li>Identify risks and roadblocks early, escalating as needed to remove obstacles and maintain momentum </li><li>Lead recurring project updates, executive reporting, and stakeholder communications with clarity and impact </li><li>Coordinate across SDLC teams to ensure software licensing, entitlements, and asset compliance are integrated into development workflows </li><li>Monitor project health metrics and take corrective action to avoid slippage </li><li>Maintain project documentation, timelines, and change logs in alignment with PMO best practices* 5+ years of project management experience in IT, ideally within application development or SDLC environments </li><li>Proven experience leading projects related to Software Asset Management, licensing, or software compliance </li><li>Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) </li><li>Demonstrated ability to drive execution, hold cross-functional teams accountable, and keep deliverables on track </li><li>Excellent communication, escalation, and stakeholder engagement skills </li><li>Comfortable operating in dynamic, fast-changing environments where priorities shift and structure may be fluid </li><li>Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or similar </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills:</p> <ul> <li>PMP, Scrum Master, or related certification </li><li>Experience working with tools like ServiceNow SAM, Flexera, Snow, or other asset management platforms </li><li>Understanding of software licensing models and vendor compliance requirements </li></ul>
