As a Mitigation Technician with Paul Davis Restoration, you'll support customers during difficult situations such as water, fire, or mold damage. This is an important, entry-level role where you'll learn valuable skills, work as part of a team, and make a meaningful impact. We're looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who take pride in helping others and want to grow with our company.</p> <p>What does a Mitigation Technician with Paul Davis do?</p> <ul> <li>Serve others within your community in their time of need </li><li>Make a difference for others that have had a disaster strike their property </li><li>Work hard and take pride in completing projects (i.e. mitigating flood and fire damage) </li><li>Be empathetic and show a sense of urgency while communicating through modern technology </li></ul> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform restoration and cleanup services (including water mitigation, mold remediation, and basic demolition) under supervision </li><li>Provide excellent customer service throughout each project </li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked work vehicle and equipment </li><li>Assist with setting up equipment, temporary structures, and preparing materials for removal </li><li>Clean and care for tools and equipment used on the job </li><li>Participate in an on-call schedule and remain reachable by phone as needed </li><li>Support warehouse and facility tasks when required </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma, GED, or equivalent</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen</p> </li><li> <p>Written and verbal fluency in English</p> </li><li> <p>Valid driver's license</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work nights/weekends and overtime, if needed</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to lift 75+ pounds frequently</p> </li><li> <p>Exposure to potentially extreme weather conditions</p> </li><li> <p>Standing, lifting, bending, twisting, pulling, pushing, reaching, stooping, for 8-12+ hours per day</p> </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>3 weeks of paid time off </li><li>8 company paid holidays </li><li>401(k) with company match </li><li>Medical, dental, vision, life, supplemental and disability insurance options offered </li><li>On-the-job training to develop new skills </li></ul> <p>Hours</p> <ul> <li>8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday </li><li>8 am - 5 pm, Friday - Tuesday </li><li>8 am - 6 pm, Monday - Thursday </li></ul>
