For more information visit www.fabickcat.com</p> <p>We are seeking skilled Technicians specializing in heavy equipment and/or aerial equipment to join our team.</p> <p>Rental Field Technician Responsibilities:</p> <ol> <li>On-Site Maintenance and Repair: Travel to customer sites to perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CAT equipment, including but not limited to: </li></ol> <ul> <li>Bulldozers </li><li>Excavators </li><li>Loaders </li><li>Aerial Equipment </li></ul> <ol start="2"> <li> <p>Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Utilize CAT diagnostic tools and technical manuals to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues efficiently. Occasional operation of the machine in the determination of repair need or repair assessment may occur.</p> </li><li> <p>Parts Replacement and Testing: Disassemble and assemble faulty parts, components, or systems on CAT machinery. Conduct tests and adjustments to ensure proper functionality and adherence to manufacturer specifications. Perform preventive maintenance and general machine upkeep.</p> </li><li> <p>Emergency Repairs: Respond promptly to emergency service calls to minimize equipment downtime and maintain operational continuity for customers.</p> </li><li> <p>Customer Interaction: Communicate professionally with customers, providing service updates, explaining technical issues, and offering recommendations for equipment performance optimization.</p> </li></ol> <ul> <li>Load or unload equipment or components from customer-owned or common carrier vehicles as needed. </li></ul> <ol start="6"> <li> <p>Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service activities, inspections, repairs, and parts usage. Complete service reports promptly for billing, warranty, and internal records.</p> </li><li> <p>Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety and Health protocols while performing tasks, identifying, and mitigating potential safety hazards.</p> </li></ol>
