<p>Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Implementations Network Engineer to support a company focused on delivering resilient, secure network solutions across the global Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN). This position is on-site at Scott AFB, IL.</p> <p>The Implementations Network Engineer will provide hands-on network implementation, activation, and operational support for mission-critical DoD networks, ensuring all services are delivered in accordance with DISA standards. This role directly supports national defense operations by enabling reliable, secure connectivity for DoD mission partners worldwide.</p> <p>Responsibilities for the Implementations Network Engineer include:</p> <ul> <li>Perform installation oversight, configuration, testing, monitoring, and activation of network equipment supporting DoD networks </li><li>Coordinate customer activities including Initial Test & Acceptance (IT&A), service activations, and DISA-required reporting </li><li>Manage Service Orders and Telecommunication Service Orders (TSOs) in accordance with Change Management procedures </li><li>Configure and implement network devices using approved configlets while validating customer requirements within DISN databases </li><li>Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve network issues by collaborating with customers, solution architects, DISA PMs, and vendor SMEs </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications for the Implementations Network Engineer include:</p> <ul> <li>4-8 years of relevant network engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 2-6 years with a Master's degree </li><li>Experience configuring and supporting enterprise networks using Cisco and/or Juniper technologies </li><li>Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols including BGP, ISIS, OSPF, VLANs, VRFs, WAN, VPN, TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS </li><li>Experience performing network configuration, testing, monitoring, performance management, and troubleshooting </li><li>Familiarity with DISA standards, Change Management processes, and DoD telecommunications concepts </li><li>Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a technical team environment </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Education: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a related technical field </li><li>Clearance: Active Secret Security Clearance </li><li>Certification: DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) </li></ul> <p>Compensation for the Implementations Network Engineer include:</p> <ul> <li>Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000, depending on experience </li><li>Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Sick Leave as required by law </li></ul> <p>#LI-ER1 #LI-ONSITE</p> <p>Keywords: Implementations Network Engineer, Network Engineer, DISA, DoDIN, DoD Networks, Secret Clearance, Security+, Cisco, Juniper, BGP, ISIS, NOC Operations, Change Management, IT&A, Telecommunications, Scott AFB, Cleared Network Engineer</p>
