As a CACFP Compliance Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting food program compliance across our schools. You will work alongside a talented team in a supportive environment where you are encouraged to grow professionally and share your expertise in compliance, reporting, and training.</p> <p>Our programs serve children ages 6 weeks to 12 years, including Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Pre-K, Before & After Care, and Summer Camp. Our culture encourages employees to bring their whole selves to work because your unique perspectives and experiences make our team stronger.</p> <p>Location Requirement: This position must reside in one of the following states and be able to travel within all states: (WI), Wisconsin, (IN) Indiana, (IL) Illionois, (NC) North Carolina and (VA) Virgina</p> <p>Who You'll Interact With</p> <p>This role interacts daily with center directors, teaching and kitchen staff, children, families, corporate operations teams, and state CACFP auditors to support a collaborative and compliant learning environment.</p> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood, Nutrition, Education, Business, or related field preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum of two years of leadership or program oversight experience</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organizational and decision-making skills</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff</p> </li><li> <p>Flexible and adaptable in challenging situations</p> </li><li> <p>Commitment to professional growth</p> </li><li> <p>Detail-oriented and highly organized</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office 365 and industry software</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English to ensure clear and accurate documentation, compliance, and communication with stakeholders</p> </li></ul> <p>Day-to-Day Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Travel 60-80% weekly to assigned schools</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct CACFP Monitoring Reports for each school three times per year</p> </li><li> <p>Help enforce compliance for all CACFP schools and company policies/procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure Point of Service (POS) is being completed accurately</p> </li><li> <p>Provide trainings for teachers and directors to maintain the highest level of compliance</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with preparation for and attendance of audits as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Complete administrative tasks related to CACFP, including:</p> </li><li> <p>Adds/Drops for enrollment</p> </li><li> <p>Reviewing all Enrollment and Income Eligibility Statements (IES) for completeness and accuracy</p> </li><li> <p>Maintaining Master Lists</p> </li><li> <p>Ensuring accuracy of CACFP paperwork, including meal counts, infant menus, and IES forms</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure meals are entered and claimed properly in the software tracking system</p> </li><li> <p>Review attendance records daily to ensure children are properly clocked in</p> </li><li> <p>Review and analyze reports for accuracy</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with center management to ensure accurate and timely information is reported and collected</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Our Shared Mission & Values</p> <ul> <li> <p>Accountability: Take responsibility, learn from mistakes, and uphold COA's mission and values</p> </li><li> <p>Collaboration: Align solutions that meet stakeholder needs</p> </li><li> <p>Growth Mindset: Treat challenges as opportunities for learning and growth</p> </li><li> <p>Integrity: Make decisions ethically and consider their impact on all stakeholders</p> </li><li> <p>Consistency: Ensure continuity of care and clear expectations for children and families</p> </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li> <p>Internal career advancement opportunities</p> </li><li> <p>50% employee childcare discount</p> </li><li> <p>Educational assistance and T.E.A.C.H. scholarship partnerships</p> </li><li> <p>Employee referral bonuses and recognition programs</p> </li><li> <p>Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, life, accident, disability</p> </li><li> <p>401(k) retirement plan</p> </li><li> <p>Paid vacation and holidays</p> </li></ul> <p>Compensation</p> <p>Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity.
