<p>POSITION OVERVIEW:</p> <p>The Pickerington Local School District seeks qualified applicants for a full time Adapted Physical Education teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.</p> <p>This position will serve the entire district and has the same work calendar and pay scale as a certified teacher.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Valid Ohio certificate/license Special All Grades (K-12) Physical Education; Adapted Physical Education </li><li>At least three (3) years of successful teaching experience preferred </li><li>Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEP) of qualifying students in relation to physical education </li><li>Ability to provide instruction and to assist with inclusion into regular physical education programs in accordance with state standards in adapted physical education </li><li>Experience working well with students with learning disabilities, staff and diverse populations </li><li>Must be properly certified. </li></ul> <p>APPLICATION PROCESS:</p> <p>Complete online application and upload a resume and any other credentials pertinent to the position.</p> <p>SELECTION PROCESS:</p> <p>Online applications will be screened, applicants selected will then be called for initial interviews.</p>
