(E.g. brachial plexus injury or other neuro-muscular disabilities.) It is the only device that, sensing a patient's own neurological signals through non-invasive wearable sensors, can restore the ability to use their arms and hands so that they can live independently, increase their quality of life, reduce cost of care, and return to work. Published clinical research shows a clinically significant instantaneous reduction in upper extremity impairment with the MyoPro. Our technology has been referred by leading-edge rehabilitation facilities including Mayo Clinic, Kennedy Krieger Institute, Cleveland Clinic, Loma Linda Medical Center, Massachusetts General Hospital, numerous VA Hospitals, and more. Myomo is headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts, with sales and clinical professionals across the U.S.</p> <p>What we're looking for:</p> <p>A vital part of our service team, the Service Technician will meaningfully contribute to our RMA process. When one of our users returns a product, we want to either repair or replace it as soon as possible, so that they can get back to being one of our Super Users in their daily life! To succeed in this role, you'll need the organizational skills necessary to track the product through our process, natural curiosity and determination to understand the issue, a hands-on aptitude for mechanical assembly and repair so you can pinpoint, test, and resolve it- and - last but not least, a top-notch commitment to customer service!</p> <p>You're a tactical problem-solver equally at home working collaboratively with a team, and independently. You understand the importance of connecting the dots through communication, (i.e. Are details logged correctly in the system, so other members can track the status along with you?) and documenting accurately as well as on time so that nothing holds up the device from getting back into the patient's hands.</p> <p>How you'll drive impact:</p> <ul> <li>Technical Expertise: Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with the ability to understand and troubleshoot electromechanical systems. </li><li>Problem-Solving: Process-oriented and analytical with the ability to resolve complex challenges with equipment. </li><li>Communication: Clear, effective communication with team members, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders with the ability to address issues, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction. </li><li>Attention to Detail: Precision in executing repairs, conducting tests, and adhering to procedures. </li><li>Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks as well as manage time efficiently to meet deadlines. </li><li>Tool Proficiency: Skilled in the utilization of hand tools as well as other diagnostic and repair equipment. </li><li>Documentation: Maintain detailed records of repair and service activities using Excel and other Microsoft Office products, along with other applications. </li><li>Customer Service: Strong customer interaction skills for providing support and explaining technical issues. </li><li>Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on Myomo's devices and related equipment. </li><li>Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to customers and field technicians. </li><li>Quality Assurance: Conduct performance tests and quality checks, ensuring that equipment meets safety and functionality standards. </li><li>Compliance: Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, (SOP's) ensuring compliance of all equipment with safety regulations. </li><li>Cross-Functional Support: Provide support to Technical Customer Service (TCS) as needed, including assisting with case handling, troubleshooting, and customer communication. Participate in cross-training to ensure alignment between Service and TCS functions. </li></ul> <p>What you'll bring:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree or equivalent experience. </li><li>1-2 years' hands-on experience building electro-mechanical products and sub-assemblies. </li><li>Medical device or other regulated environment experience strongly preferred. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to read and follow assembly and test procedures. </li><li>Foundational experience with machining tools and techniques. </li><li>Availability to work from 7 AM - 3:30 PM Monday - Friday. </li></ul>
