<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Under close supervision, the Food Service Associate performs a variety of food service duties.</p> <p>Job Essentials</p> <ul> <li>As a Room Service Attendant you need to know how to: </li><li>Distribute menus and deliver and pick up patient meal trays. </li><li>Communicate proper procedure for using Room Service to patient. Communicate with diet office in regard to patients meals. </li><li>Assemble patient food trays accurately, working as part of a Room Service driven production line; place appropriate and correctly portioned menu items, following individual selections. </li><li>Check all food items for quality before serving. </li><li>Order par stock for floor kitchen and put it away. </li><li>Report equipment malfunctions to Lead or Manager. </li><li>Follow safety practices to include but not limited to equipment safety, guards, spills cleaned up immediately and chemical usage, gloves and safety glasses used, (appropriate PPE) and preventing burns. </li><li>May record temperatures. </li></ul> <p>Shift Details</p> <ul> <li>40 hours / full time benefits </li><li>12pm - 8:30pm - weekends required </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Previous food service and customer service experience, preferred </li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>Hazardous Analysis of Critical Control Point (HACCP) training to be obtained after hire </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <p>Interact with others by effectively communicating, both orally and in writing.- and -Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.- and -See and read computer monitors and documents.- and -Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.- and -May require lifting and transporting objects and office supplies, bending, kneeling and reaching.</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Saint Joseph Hospital</p> <p>Work City:</p> <p>Denver</p> <p>Work State:</p> <p>Colorado</p> <p>Scheduled Weekly Hours:</p> <p>40</p> <p>The hourly range for this position is listed below.
