To learn more about the Department of Revenue's excellent array of benefits, including career training, tuition waivers, paid vacations, insurance, and retirement programs, visit our website.</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>This is a Government Operations Consultant II - Regional Operations Monitoring Consultant position in the Department of Revenue's Child Support Program Central Operations Performance and Accountability Team. The incumbent will report to the Revenue Program Administrator. This is advanced level work, and the incumbent is required to perform complex tasks with minimal supervision, and must be able to make independent decisions, plan, evaluate, analyze data, recommend processes or strategies and formulate solutions. They will be responsible for the daily monitoring operations within the Region, providing guidance and direction to team members in analysis, monitoring and reporting. Duties will include coordination with the Child Support Program office and other teams, compiling and analyzing data, determining effectiveness and recommending next appropriate action. Compile and analyze data, determine effectiveness and recommend next appropriate action. Serve as liaison to internal and external partners; maintain open communication and working relationships to solve problems and make decisions. Work in Microsoft Office using Word, Excel, Outlook, state systems and the internet to research and evaluate information and resolve complex issues.</p> <p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue </li><li>Two years of Child Support Program experience </li><li>Experience communicating and providing detailed information in a variety of methods (i.e. - report writing, public speaking, correspondence, conflict resolution) to diverse internal and/or external customers </li><li>Experience using Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel functions (tables and pivot tables), Word, Teams, and PowerPoint </li><li>Experience identifying and resolving operational deficiencies to ensure compliance with operational procedures </li><li>Employment experience reviewing data, identifying trends and recommending process improvements </li></ul> <p>SPECIAL NOTES:</p> <ul> <li>This role is eligible for full- time telework after you complete required training and reach an acceptable level of proficiency. </li><li>The applicant selection criteria (ASC) screening tool has been administratively approved.
