<p>Overview:</p> <p>Advanced Practice Provider Heart Failure Full Time Piedmont Atlanta</p> <p>Piedmont Heart Institute (PHI) is recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Advanced Heart Failure team at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Atlanta, GA. This is a full-time position working mostly 10-hour shifts, rotating in-patient and out-patient management of patients with heart failure, LVAD and heart transplant.</p> <p>This is a great opportunity to be employed by one of the nations leading cardiology programs. You will work alongside some of the most respected and highly-trained physicians.</p> <p>The Samsky Advanced Heart Failure Centeris one of the top 10 national LVAD (left ventricular assist device) implanting center, helping end-stage heart failure patients maintain or improve organ function.Piedmont Heart Institute has one of twoheart transplantprograms in Georgia.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>In this position you will:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in the evaluation and treatment of Cardiology patients in an inpatient setting. </li><li>Independently manage patients with heart failure in the Samsky Advanced Heart Failure Center. </li><li>Order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients as direct patient care services are delivered. </li><li>Work alongside Physicians and other Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers in a collaborative team. </li><li>This position will largely function on an independent basis; ideal candidates will have experience with limited supervision and work well independently. </li></ul> <p>Piedmont benefits include:</p> <ul> <li>Comprehensive benefits and salary package </li><li>401k with match </li><li>Generous CME allowance </li><li>Quality, Service, and Reputation </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Master's or Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification</p> <ul> <li>-or-- </li></ul> <p>Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification.</p> <p>Qualified candidates will have 3-5 years of acute care cardiology experience with strong Advanced Heart Failure skillsets (transplant, LVAD care experience) preferred.</p> <p>Business Unit : Company Name: Piedmont Heart Institute Physicians</p>
