<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Campus Title: Adjunct Instructor, Drinking Water Operator Pre-Certification Courses</p> <p>Budget Title: Adjunct</p> <p>Salary Range: $50.00/hour</p> <p>Duration: Fall Semester (with the possibility of future semesters)</p> <p>Brief Description of Duties:</p> <p>SUNY Morrisville seeks candidates for the position of Instructor to teach Drinking Water Operator Pre-Certification courses for our Environmental Training Center!</p> <p>The instructor shall be responsible for course preparation and the following:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare training and teaching materials and appropriate assessments </li><li>Administering pre-certification courses for Drinking Water Operators </li><li>Water Operations courses include Grades B, C, and D Water Operator Training </li><li>Managing laboratory safety and operating procedures </li><li>Supporting off campus tours/worksites to adhere to curriculum </li></ul> <p>Current Course Schedule:</p> <p>November 2025 courses</p> <ul> <li> <p>Grade B Water 11/17 - 11/21</p> </li><li> <p>Day Time Classes</p> </li><li> <p>Possibility of more courses</p> </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Minimum Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>3+ years experience working as a Grade B (or higher) Water Plant Operator </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience using Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) </li><li>Previous experience training or instructing adult students </li><li>Understanding of Microbiology, Chemistry, Physics, and/or Math as it relates to drinking water treatment </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>SUNY Morrisville is committed to creating a vibrant community enriched by diverse perspectives, talents and experiences, and prohibits discrimination in employment based on gender, race, ethnicity, nationality, physical capability, age, creed, sexual identity, veteran status, and economic means.
