<p>Lecturer - Information Systems</p> <p>FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT</p> <p>"At Baruch College we believe that student success is everyone's responsibility"</p> <p>The Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, City University of New York is seeking applicants for a full-time Lecturer in Information Systems in the Paul H. Chook Department of Information Systems and Statistics. Preference will be given to applicants who can teach various courses in the department, including, but not limited to, the following areas: Cybersecurity & Information Assurance, Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence, as well as other traditional courses in Information Systems such as Systems Analysis and Development, Programming, Cloud Computing, and Web Applications Development.</p> <p>The largest accredited collegiate school of business in the United States, Baruch College's Zicklin School of Business has earned a national and international reputation for excellence. It offers nationally ranked undergraduate, part-time, and full-time MBA programs, specialized masters, and doctoral programs. The Paul H. Chook Department of Information Systems and Statistics offers undergraduate majors and minors in Information Systems (IS) and in Statistics and Quantitative Modeling (SQM). It also offers four specialized MS degrees in IS, Business Analytics, Statistics, and Quantitative Methods & Modeling, as well as a PhD program in IS. It also provides courses for our MBA program.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Candidates must have at least a master's degree in information systems or related areas. They must also demonstrate effectiveness in teaching and other faculty-related service (such as curriculum design, industry engagement, and grant work).</p> <p>Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.</p> <p>COMPENSATION</p> <p>$86,427- $98,534; commensurate with qualifications and experience</p> <p>CUNY is in the process of implementing salary schedule increases. Once implemented, salaries of eligible employees will be adjusted by 3.25% effective 9/1/2025 and 3.5% effective 9/1/26, in accordance with the terms of the PSC-CUNY collective bargaining agreement.</p> <p>CUNY offers faculty a competitive compensation and benefits package covering health insurance, pension and retirement benefits, paid parental leave, and savings programs.
