<p>Job Description:</p> <ul> <li>Adjunct or part time teaching assignments include in person day and evening courses </li><li>Professors work collaboratively to create a learner centered environment focused on student learning and success. Teaching approaches are expected to include active and collaborative techniques and real-world applications related to animation and digital photography. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities and Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Create a community of learners </li><li>Plan and implement active and collaborative learning and assessment </li><li>Provide consistent feedback </li><li>Evaluate achievement </li><li>Assign grades </li><li>Maintain student records of attendance, participation, grades, etc. </li><li>Work collaboratively with divisional staff </li><li>Monitor email communications from students and the college, and respond in a timely manner </li><li>Focus on the Commonwealth's Equity Agenda by applying related best practices throughout all job functions. </li></ul> <p>Additional Opportunities:</p> <ul> <li>Participate in instructional development and orientation, department, early college, and college wide activities. </li></ul> <p>THIS POOL IS VALID THROUGH JUNE 30, 2026. Qualified applicants will be contacted by the academic department.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in animation or closely aligned field </li><li>Candidates should be fluent with Adobe Animate, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator and have 2D animation experience and strong drawing skills. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with and understanding of the community college environment. </li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively. </li><li>Capable of maintaining academic standards with empathy and honesty. </li><li>Knowledge of and experience using effective pedagogical strategies. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Position Status: Adjunct Faculty, Part-Time Non-Benefited MCCC/MTA bargaining unit position</p> <p>Semester: Fall 2025</p> <p>Salary: $1,397.00 per credit, consistent with the DCE Collective Bargaining Agreement. *If hired for the position mid-semester, the salary will be pro-rated based on the number of weeks left in the semester.</p> <p>Worksite: Assignments will include all Massasoit sites and additional locations as necessary.</p> <p>Deadline to Apply: June 30, 2026</p> <p>Application Instructions:</p> <p>A cover letter and resume are required, please apply online.
