<p>The Part-Time Taproom Manager is responsible for the management of all daily taproom operations and staff, assuring that the operation abides by the company's standards and mission.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li> <p>Manage day-to-day taproom operations with primary focuses on the following:</p> </li><li> <p>Customer service standards</p> </li><li> <p>Staff accountability</p> </li><li> <p>Company policy and mission adherence</p> </li><li> <p>Cost controls</p> </li><li> <p>Sales-building strategies</p> </li><li> <p>Daily receipts, deposits, tip-share and cash management</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee multiple assigned focus areas as needed by the department:</p> </li><li> <p>Maintenance and repair</p> </li><li> <p>Sanitation and cleanliness</p> </li><li> <p>Quality control</p> </li><li> <p>Entertainment and events integration</p> </li><li> <p>Product rotation and availability</p> </li><li> <p>Communications (both internal and external)</p> </li><li> <p>Mug Club</p> </li><li> <p>Willingness to assist and support other managers in their focus areas.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead by example at all times, adhering to all company policies and procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Proactively assist both staff members and customers with questions.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and maintain a knowledge of Founders' culture, products, and the Taproom layout and be able to effectively communicate that information to our customers.</p> </li><li> <p>Treat customers and co-workers with courtesy and respect.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a safe work environment according to federal and state regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Take initiative to help any area of the Taproom whenever possible.</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties may be assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <ul> <li>Strong knowledge of craft beer industry and its retail consumers. </li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and weekends (this is non-negotiable). </li><li>Develop and maintain a knowledge of Founders' culture, products, and the Taproom layout and be able to effectively communicate that information to our customers and the staff. </li><li>Reliable car and be able to travel. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience</p> <p>Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
