In this essential frontline role, you'll connect patrons with the resources, technology, and opportunities they need, while ensuring every visitor feels welcome, understood, and empowered.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Patron Engagement and Assistance</p> <p>Greet patrons with warmth and provide support in both Spanish and English. Assist with library accounts, recommend materials, answer general reference questions, and promote events and services with clarity and enthusiasm. Your bilingual communication skills will ensure patrons of all language backgrounds feel supported and included.</p> <p>Technology and Digital Literacy</p> <p>Help patrons troubleshoot and learn technology, from basic device support to using library computers, databases, and digital tools. Provide bilingual guidance and instruction, helping patrons confidently access information.</p> <p>Materials and Collection Support</p> <p>Process, shelve, and maintain library materials. Create engaging displays and support collection organization using our inventory systems, while promoting Spanish-language resources.</p> <p>Learning and Development</p> <p>Stay informed about library offerings and trends.
