<p>Visit School Website</p> <p>Catholic School Search</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Communications & Marketing Coordinator supports the school's communications and marketing efforts across digital, print, and in-person channels to advance the school's mission, strengthen community engagement, and support enrollment and retention. This role executes day-to-day marketing activities, manages content and social media, and coordinates messaging in collaboration with Enrollment, Advancement, Parish stakeholders, and school leadership.</p> <p>General Duties & Responsibilities</p> <p>Brand, Content & Publications</p> <ul> <li>Implement and maintain the school's established brand voice and visual identity across all communications </li><li>Produce marketing and communications materials including advertisements, banners, posters, and new family folders/packets </li><li>Photograph school events and curate images for use across digital and print channels </li><li>Write and submit weekly parish bulletin articles by gathering school highlights and photos </li><li>Maintain and execute content calendars aligned to admissions, development, and major school events in collaboration with school leadership </li></ul> <p>Digital & Social Media</p> <ul> <li>Manage the school's Facebook and Instagram accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and community engagement </li><li>Maintain and update website marketing pages in coordination with the Website Coordinator </li><li>Provide current photos and marketing copy for website updates and campaigns </li><li>Track performance metrics (e.g., reach, engagement, click-through rates) and share insights to support ongoing improvement </li></ul> <p>Event Marketing & Community Engagement</p> <ul> <li>Promote key recruitment and retention events such as Catholic Schools Week, Open Houses, Grandparents' Day, and New Parent Events </li><li>Provide on-site communications support for events, including signage, photography, and promotional materials </li><li>Coordinate closely with Enrollment on application and registration campaigns and messaging </li></ul> <p>Public Relations & External Communications</p> <ul> <li>Draft story ideas, press releases, and media pitches and support outreach efforts in collaboration with school leadership </li><li>Coordinate with Archdiocesan marketing and communications teams and invite them to appropriate school events </li><li>Assist with maintaining relationships with parish communications staff and relevant community partners </li></ul> <p>Collaboration & Reporting</p> <ul> <li>Attend Archdiocesan marketing meetings as requested </li><li>Prepare communications updates and materials for the Parent Association and School Advisory Board as needed </li><li>Partner with Enrollment and Advancement teams to ensure aligned messaging and coordinated campaign execution </li></ul> <p>Physical & Mental Demands</p> <ul> <li>Frequent movement across campus to capture photos and content; occasional lifting up to 20 pounds (e.g., signage or equipment) </li><li>Periodic evening and weekend work to support school events </li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and brand standards </li></ul> <p>The Archdiocese of Chicago offers a comprehensive total rewards package to include competitive compensation and benefit programs. An employee's pay within the salary range will be based on many factors including but not limited to: relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.</p>
