<p>Title: Adjunct Faculty-Business Ownership Accounting</p> <p>Employee Classification: Faculty</p> <p>Institution: Roane State Community College</p> <p>Department: Social Science, Business and Education</p> <p>Campus Location: Roane State Community College</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Teach the Business Ownership Accounting course in web format (asynchronous online) using the learning management system (LMS) D2L Bright Space or in person on the Oak Ridge or Harriman Campus.</p> <p>Job Duties</p> <ul> <li>Teach the Business Ownership Accounting course in web format (asynchronous online) using the learning management system (LMS) D2L Bright Space or in person on the Oak Ridge or Harriman Campus. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Master's degree in accounting or a master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in accounting.</p> <p>If teaching online, the applicant must have at least two years of experience teaching accounting online at the college level using D2L Brightspace.</p> <p>The applicant must be able to utilize multiple functions within the LMS (audio and video recording) and apply best practices for online teaching.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Previous teaching experience.</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <p>The applicant must know the tax laws in Tennessee and be highly skilled in using accounting software.</p> <p>If the preference is to teach on campus, it would be either the Oak Ridge or Harriman campus in Eastern Tennessee.</p>
