<p>Title: Industrial Maintenance Integrated Automation Instructor/Trainer-Stanton Extension</p> <p>Employee Classification: Faculty</p> <p>Institution: TCAT-Jackson</p> <p>Department: Industrial Maintenance</p> <p>Campus Location: TCAT Jackson</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <ul> <li>Deliver customized training programs in industrial maintenance and integrated automation technologies, including: Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), robotics and automation systems, electrical and mechanical systems, pneumatics and hydraulics, and industrial safety and troubleshooting. </li><li>Monitor and evaluate trainees/students' progress, maintain records in the college's student records management system, maintain appropriate documentation and submit timely reports. </li><li>Provide hands-on instruction using lab equipment, simulators, and real-world scenarios. </li><li>Track trainee progress and provide feedback to both participants and management. </li><li>Maintain training facilities, tools, and equipment in optimal condition. </li><li>Support continuous improvement of training programs through feedback and performance data. </li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to align training content with operational needs and evolving technologies. </li><li>Provide instruction in both specialized industrial training and classroom technical training when needed. </li><li>Perform related tasks and other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Job Duties</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Must have a high school diploma or GED/HiSET. Technical diploma or post-secondary credential in a related field. Associate Degree preferred. </li><li>Must have a minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience in industry. </li><li>In-depth knowledge of electronics, variable frequency drives, mechanical maintenance, electrical motor controls, hydraulic systems, pneumatics, PLC (RSLogix), instrumentation, predictive and preventative maintenance, and industrial robotics. </li><li>Familiarity with safety protocols and industrial standards. </li><li>Must possess computer skills and knowledge of emerging technologies in manufacturing and automation. </li><li>Skilled in managing deadlines and working in a team-oriented environment. </li><li>Committed to utilizing technology in teaching/learning experience and willingness to stay up to date in developing instructional technologies. Prior teaching or evidence of ability to teach students is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Must possess organizational and communication skills necessary to be an effective teacher. </li><li>Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with students, the public, industry partners, and other faculty and staff. </li><li>Must show evidence of good character, organizational skills, and mature attitude. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands / Working Conditions</p> <p>{sTAOther1}</p>
