This role will update the weekly finance forecast, provide budget support, complete weekly/monthly/quarterly and ad hoc reporting and be one of the primary liaisons with the Store Operations team. Additionally, the Senior Financial Analyst will have an active role in preparing and presenting in the weekly store labor meeting with Finance and Store Operations leadership. The position works across the Finance team, as well as various business partners so the ability to collaborate effectively is essential. The Senior Analyst will also be involved in various ad hoc projects, which may include supporting our Operations/Technology/Finance partners in various product initiatives.</p> <p>The position requires strong attention to detail, problem solving and conceptual thinking, and oral and written communication skills. The workload shifts frequently across job duties. Therefore, flexibility, perseverance, and comfort with ambiguity are requirements for success in this role.</p> <p>Store Labor Forecast Support and Analysis</p> <ul> <li>Tracking of weekly/daily hours by banner and region to determine scheduled vs issued hourly trends </li><li>Actualizing the finance forecast weekly utilizing data received from Payroll Services </li><li>Projecting weekly management, productive hourly, non-productive and store support payroll </li><li>Providing weekly updates to Corporate FP&A and Store Operations on forecast changes </li><li>Actively identify risks and opportunities to the company's finance forecast </li><li>Supporting Regional Finance Managers with any data requests and analysis pertaining to store labor metrics </li></ul> <p>Regular and Ad Hoc Reporting</p> <ul> <li>Preparing and presenting updates to the weekly store labor forecast, store labor trends, wage rate decompositions and earned payroll for the weekly store labor meeting. </li><li>Preparing monthly reporting to support the company's Fuel for Growth initiatives </li><li>Preparing banner level reporting to support monthly and quarterly Corporate FP&A and Investor Relations requirements </li><li>Supporting the team's Director and Manager on various ad hoc related projects as necessary including the operating budget </li></ul> <p>Liaison (Admin) Support and Reporting</p> <ul> <li>Assist in developing annual operating budgets for liaison areas of responsibility </li><li>Create and/or provide oversight related to monthly reporting for liaison areas. </li><li>Providing broad support for the Store Operations team </li><li>Assisting with other Ad Hoc analysis and reporting as needed </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's Degree-MBA/CPA a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related business field</p> </li><li> <p>3-5 Years of Experience</p> </li><li> <p>Prefer knowledge of MS Excel, PeopleSoft Financials and Hyperion</p> </li><li> <p>1 - 3 years of specific experience supporting: expense planning, forecasting, presenting, investment analysis</p> </li></ul>
