<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Your Role on Our Team:</p> <p>We are looking for an?Engineering Technician?passionate about product development, quality control and reliability, and being hands-on. A typical?Engineering Technician?is responsible for supporting test development and execution while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.</p> <p>You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>CORE JOB FUNCTION: Choose an item.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations</p> </li><li> <p>Exercise responsibility for thoroughness, timeliness and accuracy of work performed</p> </li><li> <p>Support New Product Development - Quality & Reliability teams through test execution, documentation, and data analysis</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain agility and support multiple requests within designated projects while maintaining priority organization and efficiency</p> </li><li> <p>Follow work instructions and test fixture procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare efficient test procedures from test specifications</p> </li><li> <p>Perform hands-on testing using a variety of electrical and mechanical test equipment and techniques</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare reports utilizing Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, databases, spreadsheets and statistical / graphical software</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in the improvement and development of testing, equipment, and documents</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain test procedures and equipment according to departmental procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Support the purchase, transfer, and shipping of equipment and materials</p> </li><li> <p>Contribute to organizational goals and objectives</p> </li></ul> <p>The TOOLS you'll bring with you:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Requires an education equivalent to a technical Associate Degree</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent organization & communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with test equipment, test procedures and methods, technical writing, mechanical/electrical principles</p> </li><li> <p>High proficiency of Computer Skills and Microsoft Office products</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of test concepts in the design and development of products and components.</p> </li></ul> <p>Other TOOLS we prefer you to have:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience working with product development or design</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working with data acquisition and test instrumentation</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with technical writing</p> </li></ul> <p>Milwaukee Tool is an equal opportunity employer.</p>
