Westchester Country Club also has two large banquet rooms, conference facilities, member apartments, and guest accommodations.</p> <p>ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY</p> <p>We are seeking an energetic, seasonal Head Diving Coach to join our Club's swimming and diving team staff.</p> <p>This position runs from June 15th to August 7th.</p> <p>WHAT YOU'LL DO</p> <p>The Head Diving Coach will work with and report to the Head Coach of Westchester Country Club's swim and dive team. They will be responsible for all aspects of instruction, coaching, promotion and safety within traditional age group standards (6-17 years old).</p> <p>WHAT YOU'LL NEED</p> <ul> <li>The Head Diving Coach should have prior instructional and coaching experience on the Club, high school or collegiate level </li><li>Extensive dive knowledge and strong leadership qualities </li><li>Valid CPR and First Aid certifications required </li><li>Lifeguard training and/or water safety instructor certifications are recommended </li><li>Ensure a safe learning environment throughout lessons for all Members and guests </li><li>Communicate and enforce pool rules and policies </li><li>Must maintain a friendly and encouraging attitude both during and outside of lessons </li><li>Must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with fellow team members, management team, Members and guests </li><li>Must be able to work a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays </li><li>Must present professional appearance and attitude at all times, maintaining a high level of member service </li><li>Must adhere to all WCC guidelines, policies and procedures </li><li>Working primarily in and around the Beach Club pool and all related designated Aquatics areas </li></ul> <p>PAY RANGE</p> <p>$20.00 - $23.00 hourly compensation, commensurate with experience</p> <p>WHAT WE OFFER</p> <p>At WCC, we believe that our biggest strength lies in the exceptional people who work for our organization to deliver memorable experiences to our members and their families.
