This is a leadership role in a professional aerospace environment, managing laboratory operations and ensuring the highest quality testing standards for materials and components in alignment with customer and aviation requirements. Join a team that combines professionalism, teamwork, and innovation in one of Israel's leading aerospace manufacturing companies</p> <p>In this role you will</p> <p>Manage a team of laboratory technicians</p> <p>Hold professional responsibility for performing tests on materials and components according to customer and aerospace standards</p> <p>Oversee daily laboratory operations including equipment calibration, stock monitoring, and laboratory maintenance</p> <p>Write professional specifications and procedures</p> <p>Report deviations promptly and take an active part in failure investigations</p> <p>Provide professional training and mentoring for laboratory staff</p> <p>Requirements</p> <p>B.Sc. in Materials Engineering - Mandatory</p> <p>M.Sc. in Materials Engineering - Advantage</p> <p>At least 5 years of experience working in a materials laboratory - Mandatory</p> <p>Experience in manufacturing and testing of composite materials - Advantage</p> <p>Experience in manufacturing and testing of metallic materials and/or chemical testing - Advantage</p> <p>Experience managing a small team and familiarity with aerospace standards such as AS9100 and NADCAP - Advantage</p> <p>Strong command of English</p> <p>Experience working with multiple interfaces, customers, and suppliers in Israel and abroad</p> <p>Ability to lead employees and cross-organizational processes with assertiveness and system-wide understanding</p> <p>Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously</p> <p>Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork ability, and high self-learning capability</p> <p>Only relevant applications will be answered</p> <p>#Karmiel</p>
