<p>Job Description</p> <p>Maintenance Mechanic C - Richmond, TX</p> <p>This is an hourly position with a starting pay of $22.98</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Maintenance Mechanic position performs a variety of skilled and unskilled tasks in the inspection, repair, lubrication, replacement, modification, fabrication and overall preventative and corrective maintenance requirements of the buildings, grounds and equipment in the cottonseed crush facility.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists and work orders as assigned and maintain records of completed tasks and procedures utilizing the facility's CMMS </li><li>Develop expertise in the operation, preventative maintenance and efficient repair of process equipment in an assigned area of ownership </li><li>Perform preventative maintenance procedures on buildings, grounds and equipment as required or scheduled - including tasks for boiler, HVAC, and mobile equipment </li><li>Troubleshoot, plan and perform minor and major repairs of buildings, grounds and equipment as required or scheduled in a lead or supporting role. </li><li>Modification and fabrication of wood, metal and plastic parts, tooling and structures as required to support production </li><li>Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, articulating boom lifts and other vehicles, after certification </li><li>Occasional fill-in for production operator and/or supervisory tasks as required, after completion of training and certification </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to read, analyze and comprehend technical manuals, prints, schematics and diagrams </li><li>Knowledge of or Ability and Willingness to learn computer-based maintenance management software system for work order planning, scheduling and reporting </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and peers verbally and in written formats </li><li>Knowledge of fabrication methods, including but not limited to use of metal working equipment and soldering, MIG, TIG and SMAW techniques for various metal types. </li><li>Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot, repair and replace pumps, valves, power transmission, rotating and belt conveying systems. </li><li>Ability to use hand tools, powered tools, measuring instruments, and calibrated equipment to perform standard mechanical repairs. </li><li>Ability to function effectively and productively as a team member with all the interpersonal skills required to build and maintain cooperative working relationships with supervisors and peers. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or GED required </li><li>Technical school certificate and two years relevant job experience (On the job training by previous employer may be considered in substitute of technical school certificate) </li><li>Knowledge of or Ability and Willingness to learn and follow all Safety, Environmental, and Food Safety requirements for the facility </li><li>Ability to meet physical requirements of the position as needed; including, but not limited to, prolonged periods of standing, sitting, working in confined spaces, working from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing and descending stairs or ladders, working in a variety of environmental conditions (heat, cold, rain, dust, etc) and lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted </li></ul> <p>ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.</p> <p>REF:106379BR</p>
