<p>Apply</p> <p>Job Type</p> <p>Part-time</p> <p>Description</p> <p>We are looking for an Occupational Therapist interested in a position for the fall!</p> <p>OT Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary and benefits package (Health insurance, dental, vision, PTO, continued ed reimbursement, etc) </li><li>Opportunities for professional development and growth </li><li>Flexible, supportive, and inclusive work environment </li></ul> <p>Occupational Therapist's Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Assist with recommendations for universal classroom modifications. </li><li>Conduct appropriate evaluations of children referred, interpret evaluation findings and prepare written reports of the evaluation. </li><li>Participate in and be a collaborative member of the Individual Education Program (IEP) team. </li><li>Participate in the development of IEPs by contributing educationally appropriate occupational therapy and related goals and objectives to the IEP document. </li><li>Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to the children in educational environments. </li><li>Collaborate with other school personnel regarding occupational therapy and the children's needs. </li><li>Travel to and among schools to provide services to children. </li><li>Maintain timely and accurate records, to include daily documentation, Medicaid billing logs, IEPs, quarterly and annual progress reports, IEPs and any additional reports required by the school district. </li><li>Participate in the local education agency's comprehensive planning process for the children with special education needs. </li><li>Supervise occupational therapy assistants when necessary. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Degree in Occupational Therapy from a school accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association. </li><li>Current Department of Public Instruction license in good standing required </li><li>Current state license and/or certification to provide physical therapy services in good standing. </li></ul> <p>Let me know if you are interested in seeing a full job description!</p>
