<p>EOC Adjunct Lecturer - Pharmacy Technician Instructor (BEOC)</p> <p>FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT</p> <p>The State University of New York, Brooklyn Educational Opportunity Center (BEOC), administered by New York City College of Technology/CUNY, offers tuition-free academic and workforce training programs to eligible New York State residents. BEOC is committed to fostering equity, access, and opportunity through transformative education and holistic student support.</p> <p>We are seeking an EOC Adjunct Lecturer to join our part-time instructional faculty in the Pharmacy Technician Training program for the Spring 2026 semester. The adjunct will deliver didactic coursework in Pharmacy Technician training, support students' development of NHA/PTCB-required competencies, and prepare them for externship readiness and certification success. The role aligns with our Modular Allied Health framework and complements the curriculum already in place. Flexibility to provide day or evening course instruction and student guidance is expected.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully.</p> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li> <p>Master's degree in a related field</p> </li><li> <p>Active PTCB Certification (CPhT)</p> </li><li> <p>At least three years of Pharmacy Technician experience (retail, hospital, or clinical)</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with NHA standards, competency-based instruction, and externship preparation</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated experience teaching or training adult learners, particularly in a metropolitan adult-education setting</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication skills and ability to support diverse learning needs</p> </li></ul> <p>COMPENSATION</p> <p>$112.50/hr</p> <p>CUNY offers faculty a competitive compensation and benefits package covering health insurance, pension and retirement benefits, paid parental leave, and savings programs.
