<p>Are you ready to support youth and families through some of their most challenging moments and help create stability where it's needed most?</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>We're looking for a Bilingual Therapeutic Behavioral Services Specialist to provide hands-on, community-based mental health support to youth and families across Alameda County. You'll work with clients-typically ages 10 to 17, and up to age 20-in their homes and communities to build coping skills, respond to crises, and support stability. We are committed to building a diverse staff, and our programs actively engage in conversations and training on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to promote equity and justice for the youth and families we serve.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provide counseling, behavioral support, and case management services to youth and families </li><li>Deliver community-based mental health services in homes, schools, hospitals, and other settings </li><li>Support youth and caregivers in building skills, strengthening relationships, and working toward treatment goals </li><li>Connect clients and families to natural supports and community-based resources </li><li>Provide crisis intervention and use de-escalation strategies to support safety and stabilization </li><li>Collaborate with treatment providers and participate in care planning, treatment reviews, and school-based meetings as needed </li><li>Complete clinical documentation, service notes, and tracking paperwork in a timely manner </li><li>Support coordination of appointments, school-related needs, and other service logistics for clients and families </li><li>Participate in on-call response, supervision, training, and team collaboration to support quality care </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education/Experience Requirements:</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor's degree OR</p> </li><li> <p>Associate's degree or equivalent + 1 year of applicable experience OR</p> </li><li> <p>High School Diploma/GED + 2 years of applicable experience</p> </li><li> <p>Bilingual in Spanish and English required</p> </li><li> <p>Applicable experience can include paid or unpaid experience working with youth or families or working in the social services field</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working with children/youth and families with complex and enduring needs (preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>Experience implementing family-focused services (preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>At least 21 years of age</p> </li><li> <p>TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Own vehicle, Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies' insurance policy</p> </li></ul> <p>Schedule</p> <ul> <li>Hybrid- Full Time </li><li>Monday- Friday </li><li>9 am - 5:30 pm </li><li>In person services in throughout Alameda County </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Starting at $30.59- $33.09 per hour </li><li>Actual salary dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications </li><li>Salary increases each year </li><li>Additional compensation provided upon passing a bilingual language proficiency exam </li><li>Comprehensive employee benefits package: </li><li>Medical, dental, vision, chiropractic, acupuncture, and fertility coverage </li><li>Short and long-term disability, family leave, and life insurance </li><li>Partially paid premiums for dependents </li><li>403b retirement plan </li><li>Employer-Paid Assistance Plan </li><li>5 weeks of paid time off and 11 paid holidays </li><li>Seneca is a Public Service Loan Forgiveness certified employer </li><li>Abundant promotional opportunities across California and Washington </li><li>Specialized training and development opportunities </li></ul>
