<p>Albright College, a vibrant and growing institution, is seeking a dynamic full-time head coach to lead the Women's Basketball program.</p> <p>The Women's Basketball coach will be responsible for all aspects of the program including the day-to-day operations of the Women's Basketball program. This includes on court coaching responsibilities; fundraising for the program; off campus and on campus recruiting; manage use of Front Rush; film breakdown and scouting report preparation; skill development of players; oversee academic progress of team; social media for the team; and summer camps and clinics for basketball. Albright is an NCAA Division III member institution as well as a member of the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), and the Commonwealth Conference.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the women's basketball program with on field coaching. </li><li>Recruit prospective student athletes on and off campus. Evaluate player talent for recruits. </li><li>Organize recruiting communications and campus visits. </li><li>Set up and monitor student athlete academic sessions, focusing on student retention. </li><li>Upload game film, breakdown game film and prepare scouting reports (both video and text). </li><li>Organize program fundraising. </li><li>Manage team budget. </li><li>Maintain team social media pages. </li><li>Promote full participation within program and all athletic events. </li><li>Promote Albright College basketball within the community. </li><li>Regularly communicate and correspond with alumni and friends of Albright basketball. </li><li>Work closely with Development and Alumni Relations to support Albright basketball and maintain relationships with alumni and friends of Albright Athletics. </li><li>Collaborate with other campus departments including Development, Admissions, College Relations, and Alumni Relations to promote basketball events and other opportunities. </li><li>Hire, organize, supervise and develop assistant coaches for the women's basketball program. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications/Prerequisites:</p> <ol> <li> <p>COMMUNICATION: Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of social media platforms and ability to maintain team pages.</p> </li><li> <p>SKILLS: Playing and/or coaching basketball necessary. Computer experience in game film and recruiting databases preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE: Coaching experience at the high school or college level.</p> </li><li> <p>EDUCATION: College degree or equivalent required.</p> </li><li> <p>LICENSES: Drivers license required.
