<p>POSITION DESCRIPTION:</p> <p>The purpose of this position is to provide maintenance of plant equipment including mixers, pumps, screw conveyors, motors, bearings, gear boxes, hydraulic systems, and maintenance welding.</p> <p>PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate the ability and desire to learn the skills necessary for further advancement </li><li>Understand and demonstrate basic electrical safety </li><li>Possess the required tools </li><li>Be able to properly & safely use hand tools </li><li>Operate MC Cart, Fork Lift and Man Lift </li><li>Demonstrate ability to use basic measuring tools (tape measure, scale, ruler, square, etc.) </li><li>Demonstrate above average accuracy of work in regards to EHS </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>PRE-HIRE REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Possess a valid US Driver's License </li><li>Able to work any shift </li><li>Good verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Experience working in industrial environment </li><li>High School Diploma or GED </li><li>Able to perform physical labor </li><li>Authorized to work in the United States </li><li>Have verifiable experience or schooling in the Industrial Mechanical Field </li><li>Score at least 40% on the Mechanical Maintenance Technician test </li><li>Demonstrate the ability and desire to learn the skills necessary for further advancement </li><li>Understand and demonstrate basic electrical safety </li><li>Possess the required tools </li><li>Be able to properly & safely use hand tools </li><li>Demonstrate ability to use basic measuring tools (tape measure, scale, ruler, square, etc.) </li><li>Demonstrate above average accuracy of work in regards to EHS </li><li>Competent in Requirements of the Mechanical Maint.
