If you're excited to be part of a winning team, you will be glad you applied here.</p> <p>Mission of the position : Responsible for planning, organizing, and leading the successful execution of World Class Maintenance performance and Capital Project Execution in support of the IDEX Operating Model.</p> <p>Deliverables:</p> <ul> <li> <p>World Class Maintenance practices (TPM, Preventive Maintenance, and asset life management) resulting in high levels of equipment availability and preventive maintenance compliance with lowest possible reactive maintenance work.</p> </li><li> <p>Capital project ownership and execution resulting in improved Return on Investment and efficient plan to execute cycle times.</p> </li></ul> <p>Primary Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Building teams capable of identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving process or maintenance issues; maintaining, repairing, and updating all production equipment systems and facilities</p> </li><li> <p>Managing and controlling maintenance costs; and overseeing and maintaining equipment performance.</p> </li><li> <p>Ownership of the Capital Appropriations Requests for the site supporting all functions in the development and execution of capital projects to drive improvements in Safety, Quality, Customer Satisfaction, and Financial Performance.</p> </li></ul> <p>Maintenance Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Supervise, set direction, delegate, and act as the technical expert to plant mechanical trades and other personnel in maintaining equipment and systems for maximum productivity levels</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure we have the capability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve process or maintenance problems and develop action plans to resolve issues and improve reliability and up time</p> </li><li> <p>Manage and control maintenance budget</p> </li><li> <p>Utilize predictive technologies</p> </li><li> <p>Support the implementation of TPM practices</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain and enforce good housekeeping strategies and methodologies in all maintenance areas</p> </li><li> <p>May be required to perform other related duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Capital Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Develop and maintain Capital Project documentation including Project Tracker, Gantt Charts for status, and all associated financial, approval, and audit documents</p> </li><li> <p>Schedule and lead monthly reviews of Capital Projects with the SLT and other stake holders</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in the AOP process by providing expected capital spend amount and timing</p> </li><li> <p>Acts as the Capital Project Process SME supporting stakeholders by training them on the process, supporting project development, financial calculations, potential vendor candidates, and other support as needed</p> </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Manages staff, sets direction, and deploys resources</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for hiring decisions, performance evaluations and terminations</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree or applicable maintenance certification with a minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment and 3 years supervisory experience</p> </li><li> <p>Project Management experience required; PMP Certification preferred</p> </li></ul> <p>Specific knowledge, skills and/or experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Working knowledge of maintenance processes systems in manufacturing operation</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated ability to adhere and develop work processes and systems</p> </li><li> <p>Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to facilitate sustainable change</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated project management skills</p> </li><li> <p>Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated ability to prioritize and implement safety related requests directed to maintenance</p> </li><li> <p>Proven analytical and quality improvement ability</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and maintenance scheduling systems (Solid)</p> </li><li> <p>Willingness to respond to emergency situations outside of normal work schedule</p> </li></ul> <p>IDEX is an Equal Opportunity Employer .
