Together, we create our culture by living our values in our day-to-day interactions with our patients and teammates.</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <ul> <li>Provides security services to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors </li></ul> <p>Reports to: Security Supervisor</p> <p>FLSA: Non-exempt</p> <p>Grade: G27</p> <p>EEO: 09 Service Workers</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li>Performs proactive monitoring of and timely responses to potential/actual security threats </li><li>Investigates and manages all security incidents and hazards on the premises </li><li>Maintains knowledge of and follows policies and procedures regarding alarms and emergency/disaster preparedness plans </li><li>Facilitates planned drills and simulations </li><li>Provides information and assistance to staff and visitors to promote their safety on the premises </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum Education</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required </li></ul> <p>Licenses/Certifications</p> <ul> <li>WV Drivers License </li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) required to be obtained within 30 days of hire </li><li>HWC required to be obtained within 30 days of hire </li></ul> <p>Required Skills</p> <ul> <li>Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision </li><li>Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action </li></ul>
