<p>Fiber Glass Systems is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our high-performance team at the Mt. Union Manufacturing facility, our highest-volume production site. This role is critical to ensuring reliable, efficient, and safe operation of all manufacturing equipment across the facility. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills, hands-on troubleshooting experience, and a proactive mindset for continuous improvement.</p> <p>As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will lead the development and execution of preventive maintenance strategies, manage machinery control systems, and support capital improvement efforts. You'll collaborate closely with Maintenance, Quality, and R&D Engineering teams to address operational challenges and drive improvements in equipment performance, reliability, and safety. This is a key role that requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.</p> <p>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES</p> <ul> <li>Maintaining and ensuring efficient operation of all manufacturing equipment at the Mt. Union facility </li><li>Manage and maintain machinery computer control systems </li><li>Creating and continuously developing preventive maintenance programs to ensure performance and durability of the facility equipment </li><li>Direct maintenance department in providing maintenance and fabrication support throughout the facility. </li><li>Strong aptitude and creativity for equipment troubleshooting </li><li>Participate in capital budget discussions related to facility maintenance and improvements </li><li>Assign tasks and duties to maintenance team to minimize downtime related to repairs/maintenance </li><li>Capability to manage multiple contractors on projects while ensuring all parties follow HSE policies and facility safety regulations </li><li>Ensure efficient operation of all electrical equipment </li><li>Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures. </li><li>Coordinate and manage activities concerned with technical developments. </li><li>Provide information used in preparation of technical procedures for tooling </li><li>Work with Quality Assurance and R&D Engineering to provide support on opportunities or issues </li><li>Interface with R&D Engineering to schedule and monitor necessary testing and development support </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree - Engineering or related discipline </li><li>At least 3 years of practical experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. </li><li>Possess a high-level of technical aptitude and ability to understand engineering, design, and product performance issues </li><li>Project management experience a plus </li><li>Familiar with testing, maintaining and repairing, pneumatic and mechanical systems and components </li><li>Demonstrate safe and proficient use of shop tools (both hand and power) </li><li>Self-starter yet able to follow instructions as directed, working with minimal supervision </li><li>Proficient verbal, written and analytical skills </li></ul>
