This position assists in administering servers, endpoints, user accounts, and core network and cloud services across hybrid environments. The role focuses on system stability, routine maintenance, user support, and escalation of complex technical issues to senior staff. This position is ideal for an individual developing foundational systems administration skills in both traditional on-premises and cloud-based environments.</p> <p>Provide operational support for servers, workstations, and enterprise systems. Assist in the administration of Active Directory, including user accounts, groups, and permissions.</p> <p>Perform routine system monitoring, patching, updates, and maintenance tasks. Support endpoint management activities including software deployment and device compliance. Troubleshoot and resolve basic infrastructure issues related to DNS, DHCP, VPN, and connectivity.</p> <p>Assist in supporting Microsoft 365 and/or cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS) Respond to IT service desk tickets and escalate issues as appropriate. Support backup, restoration, and disaster recovery procedures under supervision.</p> <p>Assist in maintaining system documentation, procedures, and configuration records. Follow established IT security policies, standards, and change management processes. Participate in scheduled maintenance windows and on-call rotations as required.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience. 1-2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration may be substituted for education. </li><li>Experience with Microsoft 365 administration </li><li>Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell preferred) </li><li>Experience with endpoint management tools (e.g., Intune, SCCM/MECM) </li><li>Understanding of IT security principles and best practices </li><li>Experience in server administration, including installation, configuration, Maintenance, and troubleshooting of server hardware and </li><li>software. Basic understanding of networking concepts. </li></ul> <p>Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Basic knowledge of Windows Server environments and Active Directory </li><li>Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) </li><li>Experience using IT service management systems (e.g., ServiceNow or similar) </li><li>Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>CompTIA A+ CompTIA Network+ Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate </li></ul> <p>Post-Offer, Pre-Employment Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Pre-Employment background screening </li><li>State of Kansas Tax Clearance Certificate.
