This is a unique opportunity to develop your leadership skills, expand your professional network, and make a lasting impact on our company's mission and values.</p> <p>During the 8-week paid internship, participants will:</p> <ul> <li>Have a chance to connect with and learn from company's leadership team throughout the course of your internship. </li><li>Have a mentor who's invested in your success and will provide feedback and coaching. </li><li>Implement MyChart Bedside and delivery patients at both Deaconess Women's Hospital and Henderson OBGYN. </li><li>Collect pre-admission, admission, and post-discharge documentation to ensure thorough patient information is available and properly documented. </li><li>Shadow the L&D nurse and observe patient interactions to understand workflows and identify existing gaps in the process. </li><li>Record and track identified gaps during the shadowing process to improve patient care and nursing procedures. </li><li>Develop and configure solutions based on findings from documentation and observations to address identified gaps and improve patient outcomes. </li><li>Implement the configured solutions in a other areas to test effectiveness and ensure smooth integration before a rollout. </li><li>Prepare written and verbal presentation including the project hypothesis, goals, scope, framework, methodology, data analysis, recommended solutions, and timeline. </li></ul> <p>What you will need:</p> <ul> <li>Requires a High School Diploma or GED. </li><li>Currently working on completion of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the related field of Nursing, Health Informatics or Health Service Administration. </li><li>Experience with Epic & MyChart is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Keywords: IT, HIT, Clinical Applications, EPIC, MyChart, Nursing</p>
