If you have relevant experience in Territory Sales Manager and you meet the requirements listed below, please apply today for consideration.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Under general direction is responsible for managing an assigned geographic territory and the face-to-face relationship with the accounts residing within this territory. Meets the sales objectives for the assigned territory through the development of an effective relationship with the dealer/distributor network. May conduct dealer education and sales training</p> <p>Essential Functions of the Job:</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS MAY VARY BY FACILITY AND PRODUCT LINE (see local supplement for additional information)</p> <ul> <li>Plan, organize, direct, and control activities related to the market penetration and customer retention of the assigned territory. </li><li>Track industry trends, relevant legislation, and competitor activitie </li><li>Analyze market and delivery conditions to determine present and future sales opportunities. </li><li>Develop solid and effective alliances and partnerships with respective account </li><li>Recruit and maintain accounts that provide high quality representation of assigned Alamo Group products and services while enhancing the Alamo Group image and bra </li><li>Provide retail marketing guidance to accounts and monitors and forecasts demand associated with Alamo Group product in employee's respective territory. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):</p> <ul> <li>Ability to plan, organize, direct, and control activities related to the market penetration and customer retention of the assigned territory. </li><li>Ability to track industry trends, relevant legislation, and competitor activitie </li><li>Ability to analyze market and delivery conditions to determine present and future sales opportunities. </li><li>Ability to develop solid and effective alliances and partnerships with respective account </li><li>Ability to recruit and maintain accounts that provide high quality representation of assigned Alamo Group products and services while enhancing the Alamo Group image and bra </li><li>Ability to provide retail marketing guidance to accounts and monitors and forecasts demand associated with Alamo Group product in employee's respective territory. </li><li>Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services; including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques and sales control system </li><li>Skilled at persuading others to achieve desired outcomes </li><li>Highly motivated self-starte </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Proven track record of sales experience in relevant industries. </li><li>Ability to efficiently and effectively trav </li><li>Skilled in operating standard desktop software, to include Microsoft Office applications </li><li>Good people skills and team player </li><li>Knowledge of GMS and safety systems to ensure compliance. </li></ul> <p>ALAMO GROUP CORE COMPETENCIES for LEADERS include:</p> <ul> <li>Leading Change / Change Management: Ability to drive improvement of team, division, and corporate goals and objectives through people.
