The Job duties include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Removal and/or placement of metal parts onto/off of a hook as it passes by to a staging area or the powder coat booth.</p> </li><li> <p>Identify parts by part number in order to stage them successfully for the assembly process area.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work with both hands to apply/remove rubber plugs from painted parts.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work at a fast pace.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.</p> </li></ul> <p>JOB QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Identify parts with tags indicating part number, quantity, and destination.</p> </li><li> <p>Housekeeping of areas to be maintained.</p> </li><li> <p>Safe work environment to be maintained.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate with area coordinator.</p> </li><li> <p>Work with others as a team, demonstrating a positive attitude</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to maintain a well-organized work area.</p> </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:</p> <p>One to three months related experience and/or training and a stable work history.</p> <p>LANGUAGE SKILLS:</p> <p>Associate should have the ability to read a limited number of two and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Must have the ability to print and speak simple sentences.</p> <p>MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:</p> <p>Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.</p> <p>REASONING ABILITY:</p> <p>Associate should be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions and administer the ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables should the need arise.</p> <p>COMPUTER SKILLS</p> <p>Some computer skills may be required depending on the job they are placed in. Some positions require the knowledge of the AS400 computer software system.</p> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
