The Patient Transporter is responsible for patient transport within the hospital and for miscellaneous functions as well. He/she contributes to service excellence by fostering collaboration among and between team members as well as other ancillary departments.</p> <p>Position: Patient Transporter</p> <p>Department: Patient Transport</p> <p>Schedule: Per Diem, Weekends Required</p> <p>JOB REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>EDUCATION:</p> <ul> <li>High diploma or GED preferred </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Requires heavy lifting and pushing, pulling and standing.</p> </li><li> <p>Requires the interpersonal skills necessary to communicate clearly to interact appropriately with nursing staff, patients, families/visitors, physicians, and other hospital staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Work requires demonstrated ability to effectively speak, read, and write English.</p> </li><li> <p>Work requires ability to follow instructions, work independently and efficiently to complete assigned work.</p> </li></ul> <p>EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>Requires 6-12 months of experience in customer service or hospital experience </li></ul> <p>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:</p> <ul> <li>Obtaining and the maintenance of CPR preferred </li></ul> <p>Compensation Range:</p> <p>$17.40- $25.85</p> <p>This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, and licensure/certifications directly related to position requirements.
